Just put it in RTTY mode and hit the transmit button. You can also use AM/FM.
I perfer the RTTY mode as it will give you a tone (if you have the monitor on)
on your speaker.

Subject: [ICOM] Tuning 7600
I have a new Icom 7600 and am using it with a DX Engineering vertical antenna.
It works OK with the automatic antenna tuner, but I want to use it with my
Palstar external tuner and eventually connect it to a linear. Is there a way,
without using a key, to generate transmit power output so that I have drive
power to tune the external tuner? If not, I don't have a keyer; is there a way
to construct a plug that will allow me to get output power for tuning?
Thanks and 73,
Gary
