No, Randy, the one at the SO-239. And yes, it is particularly sensitive.

Ron, Al, which relay are you referencing,? the one on the top of the
autotuner board ( I think mine are green/white) or the one on the small
board next to the so-239 out (I think it's white )?
and confirming that when it's active , this is an annoying little pest of
an intermittent problem, and seems like the weight of a pet flea jumping on
the rig makes it go away.. unbelievable when it occurs..
I found the relay number with stock listed at odysseyelectronics.net but I
cannot load the order page on my "superb" dial-up.

Al, these relays are a commom problem. My 761 developed the intermittant
issue last year. Icom tech says to replace it. I took it apart and used a
small strip of business card with DeOxit 5 on it. It has worked perfectly
for over a year.....
I have never seen a relay SO sensitive to "lightly" tapping the radio, to
have it kick in on out.

It sounds as if the relay in my vintage '761 has given up the ghost after
2 years. While it occasionally will work, much of the time it doesn't eem
to want to engage properly. I haven't had a chance to take it apart nd do
any measurements but my service manual says the relay is a VS12TBN-E nd
I've been having problems finding it on the net.
Any suggestions?
