[ICOM] opinions needed

Hi Renee,

If you operate 2m and 70cm all-mode, the IC-7000 is an excellent replacement
for the IC-706 MkIIG. If you only operate FM on VHF and UHF, an IC-7200
(HF/6m) and a separate VHF/UHF FM radio would make sense.

Cheers for now, 73,
Adam VA7OJ/AB4OJ

Subject: [ICOM] opinions needed

I have decided to give up my 706Mark2G due to the issue with the finals. I
was wondering what does everyone think about new vs old radios for
reliability and repair? I need to get something to replace the 706 but not
sure which way to go now. Another "all in one rig" or a couple separate
radios for HF/6 and VHF/UHF?
Any thoughts, opinions, insights would be greatly appreciated.
73,
Renee NZ9T
