Really,  I don't think such lists are worth anything.

The value of the rig is going to change with its condition, options,
etc., but also market conditions.

I remember a list some years ago, and that was during better times.
That list now isn't likely to reflect the reality of what people can pay.
Also, there is more used gear out there than ever before, and that
can't help but depress prices.

Lastly, is it worth it to your friend to hold out for $1000 for an "x",
when someone is offering say, $800?

If you posted the items here you'd likely get a range for the items,
which is probably better than a price guide.
