With the typical 756PROIII ESD failure you can still RX fine on
either antenna port, just some 300 Volt diodes and some FETs in the
tuner fail and you have no TX power. Usually finals and drivers are
still OK. It sounds like you blew something in the antenna switch
circuit that hopefully is easier and less $$$ to repair. I took mine to
FD but used some of the ICE 8KW ESD filters and we did have some T
storms! They are not really good for 8KW but discharge all ESD without
needing a voltage buildup to jump a gap like with Polyphaser etc.
