[ICOM] IC 756PROII value?

I have been casually watching asking prices for PROIIs and PROIIIs for a
year or so. I've seen asking prices of $1250 - 1600 for PROIIs and $1600 -
2200 for PROIIIs. If I could find a good PROII for $1000 I'd buy it in a
heart beat. That's the going price of a PRO.

I paid about $2300 for a NIB PROIII at the time they were closing
them out but it did not include the PS. I would think $1000 for a PROII
would be high. I've not before heard of a problem with the screen on a
PROII but it was a problem with the original 756 before DSP. The DSP on
the 756PRO left a lot to be desired as it was easily overloaded on the
one I used.

PS It would be interesting to know if Icom has solved the ESD
problems that were fairly common on the PROII and III on the latest and
best and more expensive incarnation?
