Peter; You are correct, Opening up the PS-125 is a "bear", a "Teddy Bear".  with the PS front panel to the left, remove the screws holding the top and side nearest you. This will expose the insides of the supply. If you are an ARRL member, the Sept 2002 QST contains a reciew of the PS-125 and an internal view. You can view this online. The last information I had was that Icom does not "repair" the PS-125, but replaces the internal assembly, and charges appropriately. This may not be accurate. I would appreciate any updates.regarding that.

Thank you Larry for that info. Opening up the inner chassis is a bear.
Besides you never know what you find there, So I better bite the bullet
and have the PS shipped to ICOM for a look.
