[ICOM] IC-781 pricing?

Eric,  if this is not what you want to hear,  toss my email..  i have had 
the 781's  in the DAY they were good..  but i think for the dough that is 
being speculated here 2k prox,  i would never consider another one ..  no 
one mentions the CRT and it persistance image...  big bummer if the tube is 
'burned'  and it just about has to be after all this time..  as well repairs 
are in my  view a pure bitch,  i never found any qualified repair tech's,  a 
friend finally saved my ass,  but all the popular techs are all bullshit and 
short on substance, very short ..  getting rid of my last 781 reamins right 
up with a 26' I/O Bayliner boat, my 67 Pontiac convertable and my first 
wife...  i get ill thinking of all the bullshit i had to endure on repairs.. 
literally sick  ..  gud luk   mac/mc  w5mc
