[ICOM] Input Requested on Inrad Roofing Filter for IC-765, , (Pros/Cons)( Spla tter is Driving me Nuts)

The 765 has an excellent receiver, I own one. I do not see how a roofing
filter would help as the splatter is from the transmitting station and is in
the rx passband. What I do on 40/75 meters is turn off the preamp and noise
blanker.
