[ICOM] 781 reception problem

My 781 decided yesterday, after working for a few hours, to stop receiving.
 It transmits OK in all modes, no problem with Tx.
The spectrum shows signals and noise but the S meter is dead and nothing
comes out of the speaker or phones.
My best guess is that the problem is in the main board, any suggestions
where should I look at?
