[ICOM] AH2 and IC-735?

My buddy W3TD found his old (and in mint condition!) IC-735 today!  Is 
it compatible with the AH2 auto tuner/antenna via one of the ACC 
connectors?  Is there another combo that would work better - ICOM or 
other mfg?
