[ICOM] IC-T2H battery pack

I found my BP-194 with 8 very strong and less than a year old Nicads, 
had completely died over the last month without any use of the HT. Now 
I know, batteries can lose their self discharge while just setting, 
but all the way to 0 volts??

I gave each battery a jump start and put the pack on the charger and 
they charged up just fine.

Has anyone else had this problem on this or similar radio with the 
BP-192 pack? As soon as I get a chance I am going to put a 
milliampmeter in series with the radio using my bench supply and see 
if it indicates any current. I would think a modern radio such as this 
would not draw down a pack while not in use.
