john,
   many dealers will not take ht's in on trade for new gear. that has really killed the value of the ht market. there are two ht's that are in demand and can demand higher that list price. the thd7ag kenwood ht for skycommand. i understand they are no longer in production and are in high demand by kenwood ts2000 owners and the new icom d-star series. it will be interesting to see if the d-star ht's drop in used price in 24 months.   73  paul w8jn
