[ICOM] Alignment Tools

True. Nearly all, if not all, ICOM do not. I have some other antique radios
that do, although I have not played with them in some time. My hex tools
have seen much better days. The rest of the tools will last for as long as I
ever play with radios.

The ceramic tools I use are either small deep slots, wide slots or x's
for pots... I don't remember Icom using slugs with hex shaped holes...
prone to breakage. It's really important to use the right fitting tool
or the slugs can easily be damaged.

I used some nylon hex tools of indeterminate origin for older TV type
stuff.

Mel,

I didn't see any hex tip tools for the coils on the vesseltools site. Was
there a kit that had them?
