Notice that the asterisk note says AF DSP.  This is not IF DSP and will not improve problems like strong signal blocking, etc.  It provides tailorable audio filters which work fine under some circumstances and not in others.

only the older versions of the 706 (original & some mk ii's). required the ut 106 to be installed after market. MK II G should be factory equipped.
