I don't have a PW1, and so ask these questions for enlightment and to
provoke your thoughts, not your temper:

o	Is this a New Thing? That is, did the main fan shut off prior to
some date, and not shut off after that date?

o	Is there any chance that the fan is thermostatically controlled, so
that it will shut down when Things Cool Down Enough?

o	Is your PW1 running hotter than usual? Around here, it would need
regular periodic cleaning, lest it accumulate enough dog hair, cat
fur, and bird feathers (not to mention stuff from the kids) to block
the filter(s) in the air inlets. I have to wash the filter on my HP
8640B regularly, and it's up about 5 feet above the floor. Ditto the
12V power supplies for the barefoot rigs, the peecees, and other
	stuff.

And how did you do in the SS, anyway? My shack is torn down while I move
it all (FT-897D, FT-450AT, RigBlaster Pro, power supplies, peecee and
flatpanel, scope, signal generators, VHF and UHF tuners, rotator control
box, audio amps, speakers, key, paddles, and bug) to another room; I
relocated the antenna leads Friday after work, which was the usual sort
of sheer pleasure that antenna and antenna lead work usually is. I
couldn't even listen.

My word, what a lot of stuff goes into even a small shack.
