Jerry; Sorry to hear of your Pto problem. If the power control is at maximum and into a 50 Ohm dummy load on CW or FM you can only get 5 watts out, you very likely have a blown 2SC1972 driver transistor on the PA board. They are no longer being manufactured, but an NTE 343 is a suitable replacement. Good luck,Larry K4LXV

Hi- My IC756pro seems to have failed.Meter readings and screen on PSK look 
normal.,but about 5-6 watts out to my Bird and load.Wondering anyone else 
has had this happen??Been wondering why no contacts.Thought it just
