[ICOM] IC-765 CW Center Frequency

You can adjust that on RX, using the CW PITCH CONTROL, so
it is NOT a fixed value ... that is also why there were
several "mods" offered <look at the other PDF link> so that
the RX sidetone and the TX sidetone would "track" ... stock
the 765 TX PITCH is FIXED at 700 ... so the mods allowed it
to be set to whatever, be it higher or lower to match the
actual selected RX PITCH.

Perhaps a better way to answer this is the TX PITCH is
FIXED at 700 Hz ... while the RX PITCH has a RANGE that
is both lower and higher, I would guess by +/- 500 Hz.

Page 6-4 mentions adjusting C307 to 9.009900 and with the
IF freq stated at 9.0106 ... that's a delta of 700 Hz.

Another idea, tune in WWV to ZERO BEAT and then offset it
by 700 Hz on the VFO dial ... now, vary the CW PITCH and
see where it actually centers?

That help?
