[ICOM] Economic cycle on a 781

For what it is worth, speaking from a professional standpoint on the current
economic cycle (this one is completely unknown, with no past experience to
draw from), there are many issues in play that have not come to pass at this
juncture. The forces were set in motion several years ago and very few
people understand what is happening now (I am speaking of the general
population). If they did understand, they would be taking whatever offer
was made to clear the rigs out of their inventory now vs. waiting until next
year when this is going to most likely be far worse in terms of general
conditions with a much dimmer long term outlook. I suspect things will
become much clearer in about 90 days from now to all and then the deals will
appear to be more to ones liking in terms of the prices....the problem is, I
am concerned that there will be very limited amounts of money in the hands
of most people to even consider buying anything that is not an important and
needed item for long term survival.
As one post said, 'those who prepared for this will be inconvenienced';
that may be so, but even those with some cash put away could possibly find
that the cash has little worth and therefore they too will not be in a
position to be buying up much of anything at reduced price. In my opinion,
this is not a time to be doing anything other than worrying about self
preservation of held assets and to be very careful about how you proceed
with future plans.

All I am saying is that if the economy is the reason for so many listing
then one would think the prices would reflect the economy?
