[ICOM] Icom 706 audio problem

I just picked up an Icom 706MKII and have discovered an audio problem with it.  At first everything sounds fine, but after it has been on a while, presumably heating up, the speaker audio becomes "Tinny" and "Raspy".  The audio from the headphones stays ok, it is just the speaker audio this happens to.  Everything else on receive is ok, just this tinny, raspy audio.

Has anyone else experience a problem like this or have any idea as to what the problem might be?
