[ICOM] IC-746/WSJT on 2-meters

I am trying to set up my IC-746 for WSJT operation. I am, of course, using
K1JT's software and a SignaLink USB interface. The rig works fine on any
digital mode I have tried on HF and 6-meters. The problem is that the '746
does not key on 2-meters. I have looked carefully at the manual and see
nothing that might help in solving this curious issue. Can anyone suggest
anything I might have overlooked?

The rig works fine on SSB/CW on 2-meters with either VOX/fast break-in or an
external footswitch for transmitter keying.
