[ICOM] Computer Can't Talk to Radio

The settings in Device Manager may or may not match those set in the
program. The program settings will, I believe, override the system settings.
Is the cable really plugged into COM1?
Do you have any other devices you can try on COM1 to make sure the com
port is OK?
Is COM1 a real serial port or a USB port with an adapter? If it's a USB
port, maybe the drivers are bad.
Have you got a friend with an ICOM rig you could test your CI-V on?
Just a few dots in the shark.......
