My IC 746 is in continuous transmit mode and have been trying to debug the
problem. The "SEND" signal appears to be normal - low and not shorted - but
I am trying to trace the "SENI" signal to it's source. The SENI signal is
the input to the main cpu which forces it into transmit and I believe the
source of this signal has failed. Unfortunately the PDF version of the
service manual is to say the least useless as you can not read any small
component ids so tracing the physical layout of the board is next to
impossible.
Any help would be appreciated.
