Hi Mike,
What I suggested was to disconnect the computer from the Pro3 and toggle
ACC(1) Pin 1 between space (open) and mark (ground) whilst checking for
correct frequency shift on the internal monitor or on a receiver. This will
verify the FSK modulation function. (User manual, p. 20).

Thanks for the tips, Adam. The rig worked OK on the 2 TTY Q's I made today.
I *HATE* intermittent problems.
I did a reset afterward just to get that out of the way.
Yep, I'm computer controlled.
I don't understand the rest of what you proposed. When you say 'Configure
for RTTY' do you mean something other than selecting RTTY mode? How would I
send a signal to pin 1?
