[ICOM] Replacement Meter Lights

Hi Rich,
This thread inspired me to bring my Icom PS-30 upstairs and FINALLY take the
lid off of it to see what I might have to do therein to replace the burnt
out meter light inside of it...
All that I had on hand here in the junque box of that "...grain-of-wheat"
size bulb was one for 6.3 volts, so I soldered a series voltage dropping
resistor to one lead (a pair of 100-ohm resistors in parallel) of the bulb,
and the internal p.s. return lead to the other...
Works like a proverbial charm...
I shoulda done this years ago! (but then again, I never read your
inspirational note here until this week, either, Hi Hi).
