Frosty: There are several vendors on E-Bay who sell a CI-V to serial or USB interface cable for about $13 delivered to your door. No construction required except for a possible extension cable if required for a particular installation.As my laptop only has USB interfaces I use the CI-V to USB version. It works just great with HRD. The CI-V to serial version costs $1. more.
