Depends what you get.

I have seen the bare 551D go for from $300 up, and over $500, if you have the FM
module installed.  I have known people to buy one with the FM module, remove the
module and resell the radio - just to get the FM module for their radio.

Check E-Ham - search for search for 551, and check the show sold box.  That
should give you an idea.

All that said - if you offered me $500 for mine you would leave without a radio.
The 575 isn't that much better.
