Confirm antenna low SWR
Turn the exciter drive to zero and see if the fault light comes on.
If not start turning it up looking at the amps PO. Could still be the
antenna. If you have two antennas then swap to eliminate.
Make sure the ALC connector is clean and attached.

Good morning,
Today out of the blue (this unit has been working fine), when ever I turned
the amp on, and key the rig, the PW1 amp/protect light goes on
automatically. any suggestions, I tried a hard reset but still nada.
I sort of starting to think this might need a trip to the shop.
