I posted this review on eHam at http://www.eham.net/reviews/detail/5629 .

I have an older Icom IC-746 Pro with a five digit serial number and one
morning I lost output power. I presumed that it was the dreaded IC151
failure.

I found out about SARTS via the Icom IC-746 Pro Yahoo eGroup. I dealt with
Matt Adrian KD8ZB and he was very friendly.

Matt diagnosed the problem as defective driver transistors and replaced
them. He also made all of Icom's mods. per the original engineering design
defects in the rig, including the IC151 transmit problem and the failed
fish
finder backlight problem. He also gave the rig a fresh realignment.

Matt did all of the repair work free of charge under Icom warranty and
that
included shipping the rig back via UPS, which by the way was very
professionally packed in three boxes.

My only expense for the whole ordeal was the $44.40 I paid to ship the rig
out. I can't say enough good about SARTS and recommend them to all.
