[ICOM] CR282 and Icom 706 MKIIG frequency stability.

Greetings (and appologies to those of you who may have seen a similar posting I made on the 706 reflector last year.)

I'm wondering if anyone else on this list has ever measured the short term frequency stability of an ICOM 706MKIIG with the CR282 TCXO or the stability of other radios using the CR282.

I've noticed that the frequency of mine seems to vary in the over the course of 30 seconds or so and when the fan cycles off and on.   The variation is not huge (maybe 30 hz on the 440 Mhz band and proportionally smaller on lower bands ie. less than one hz at 10 mhz) and this is well within the published .5 ppm spec.   I've done the test several times over the last year with the same results while the radio is just sitting on the bench at room temperature.   

I'll probably just ignore this problem as I don't think the error will be large enough to cause any real issues but I'd be curious in knowing if anyone else has encountered this before.     On HF I don't see this causing any issues at all and I don't use any modes on VHF or UHF that might suffer from this frequency drift.
