[ICOM] Cleaning out a dusty radio

I just got a used HF/VHF/UHF radio today and it is rather dusty inside-it definitely looks used.  Cleaning the case and the front wasn't too tough, but what is the best way to clean out the insides of a radio?  I thought about the vacuum cleaner, but don't want anything that might cause static electricity to the components.  It does seem to work ok as is.
