Yeah, I've still got my ATAS-100... I've been inclined to put it back on.

Yes, I'm running it remote (www.wa9pie.net/hamradio).  I tried a choke on
the tuner control cable and that didn't do anything.  I hadn't tried a choke
on the remote cable.  Overall, using chokes for most of this stuff probably
isn't a bad thing.  I'll try that and report back later.

sound like rf got into your remote cable .,,,,  you are running the 
set remote????

i have chokes on my control cables for the 706,,,,  and the antenna 
conterol & rf lines...

otherwise it sure beat the old atas I had.....
