[ICOM] IC 2720H driver failure.

Greetings;

Is there an archive on this list or elsewhere that has information on 
the now "classic" 2720H driver failures.

I am especially interested in the failures above a given serial number, 
the part number of the failed transistor (when it failed it let the 
smoke out and took the top of the transistor with it, hence no readable 
part number) and if there are any acceptable substitutes.

The serial number of the unit that failed is 0506980.

This is the first failure of my ICOM gear in a loooong time. Among a 
number of other ICOM products I have 3 2720H radios; 2 in mobile service 
and one in the console at my fixed station that is a major pain to remove.

Anyone care to guess which one failed? <g>
