The only series of MKIIG's that are OK are the ones with sevent digit serial 
numbers beginning with 15XXXXX.

Jim: I believe its only the 706, not MKII nor MkIIG with the discontinued pa

Is there a date code on the radio that I can check. I bought a demo radio
and do not know the real age of it. It IS a mkIIG.
