[ICOM] IC-2KL in serious contesting

Good evening;

I obtained my IC2KL (with AT500) over 20 years ago. I have used it as a
primary amplifier in many serious contests; phone, CW and RTTY. Other
than the the need to replace the filter capacitors in the bias "module"
and occasional lamp replacements I have had zero problems with the
amplifier. I do run it a bit conservatively on RTTY - app. 300 watts.

I have several other amplifiers but the ease of QSYing using "hunt and
pounce" tactics make the "2KL" my favorite.

Currently operating with a PRO III.

GREAT amp!
