[ICOM] 781 cabinet color code?

   I recently got a spare slightly scratched up top cabinet cover to replace 
my original top which had a long scratch on the top and along left side. I 
had my wife look at 3 different Krylon dark gray and medium gray paint cans, 
looking at the cap colors. I am color blind so have to rely on the wife. hi 
Well, using small Q  tips I applied some paint to  a couple of small areas 
on the new top cover, not liking the silver metal showing where the 
scratches were. I am disappointed that the results reveal varying colors, 
depending if looking down straight at the cover (a "metalic" gray sorta 
matching the overall cabinet) and if you look from a lower, straight ahead 
or side look, the paint repair areas appear "very dark" in color, almost 
blackish.. Wish I had just left the scratches there.
  Does anyone know of a matching color produced by Krylon or some other 
paint maker? I know I can lightly sand and spray the entire top but I would 
lose the small "flecks" textured finish  in the original paint job and the 
paint might not match the lower cabinet. As it stands now, the sides and top 
match my original bottom color, except for the flaws I created. So, I just 
want to get some paint that is closer to the original Icom paint for the 
cabinet and redo the scratch areas. Appreciate any paint # or manufacturer 
you may come up with. Medium gray seems about right along with the medium 
charcoal gray..
