[ICOM] Very Interesting..

Heh heh heh - - - I have been of the opinion that kenwood has been on the
decline for a number of years already. ESPECIALLY in the areas of customer care
and service. It doesn't surprise me that they seem to be running third or lower
in the amateur market. I don't know if that is because they cannot compete with
the others, or they just don't care to compete with the others. In any case, it
is a business decision and theirs to make. As the captain goes, so goes the
ship.

I see the problems some of my friends have had with kenwood gear, and I see no
reason to buy any head aches myself.

ICOM isn't perfect either. But they are friendly on the phone and they get it
right - most of the time. The few times something is screwed up, they really
try to make it right.

Y-all have a great week. Thoughts and prayers to our hurricane battered
friends.
