Hi Mike,

The 2KL has a "brute-force" diode limiter in the splitter primary circuit to
suppress ALC overshoot spikes. I never had a problem with my 2KL and
unmodified 781 either.

Just everybody moaning "Where's my sunspots?" like if someone can do
something about it.

I have no need to mod my 781, works just fine with the 2KL.  I hardly use
what I have.
