However, I'm with ya on the waiting, it shall happen ......
Just got the IC-781 all back together ... Checked it on the scope, into a
dummy load in CW Mode with the keyer at ALL Speeds and ALL Power Levels sure
enough this mod WORKS ...
IF Board:
C47: 2.2 uF
C48: .47 uF
R108: 100
R109: 1K
R112: 4.7K
D15: 1N5711
PI Board:
R8: 4.7K
NO MORE Spikes, no matter what power level or speed.

Art Bell said something about a magnetic reversal and an ice age. Maybe the
sunspots are not going to appear either.
In any case, nothing I can do about sunspots but wait.
