[ICOM] IC 746 cable ?

I found a cable that came with my IC 746 I  purchased  used 2 yr.s ago. I 
want to find out it's function. It's a 9 pin  serial type female on 1 end. The 
other end has 2 phono plugs. One standard 1/4''  & the other a mini.
