[ICOM] SP20

I was fortunate enough, (or at least I thought I was), to have picked up a
second hand SP20 speaker. Hooked it up to the output of my beautiful IC765
and opened my ears. Sounded splendid. Problem: When I select any of the four
filter options, the audio from the speaker dies away and I then have to give
the audio gain control a quick burst to get it back again. The audio then
sounds somewhat distorted until I release the selected filter button and
give the AF Gain a quick tweak ? Without selecting any of the filter options
the audio output from this speaker is pretty good. This audio
fading/distortion happens each and every time I select one of the filter
options on the speaker. Any ideas ? Does anyone have a schematic for this
