It has now been confirmed that the IC-7200 has a 6 kHz 1st-IF roofing
filter. 

The IC-7200 advertisement on the outside back cover of "CQ Magazine",
October 2008, lists the 6 kHz roofing filter among the radio's features. The
upshot of this is that the IC-7200 should have excellent receiver
performance for a radio in this price category.  I have updated my IC-7200
page accordingly.
