I use my 7700 most of the time. While I sometimes miss the lack of
Dual Watch, for my type of casual DXing the extra features and
performance of the 7700 make up for it. I use the built-in PSK/RTTY
transceive capability more than I ever thought I would. Then you add
the much larger screen, support for external keyboard and external
monitor, direct computer serial connection, adjustable razor-sharp
filters, Internet BIOS updates and the absolutely solid solid solid
construction. My very subjective comparison would equate the 756 Pro
III to a high-end BMW, while the 7700 comes across more like a Rolls Royce.

This is a photo of my operating position showing both radios.

Again, this combination works for *ME* and *MY* style of
operating. You need to set your own needs and priorities and pick
equipment that complements them (and your budget).

Best of luck.

Dick
