Subject: [ICOM] Icom's on 60-Meters
Hopefully, I'm not beating a dead horse here, but if I am, my humble apologies. I've read/heard that due to bandpass filtering, the 746 series rigs don't play as well as the 706's do on 60-meters. Any truth to this notion? Also, I'm thinking of "Plucking the fleas" (removing the appropriate SMT diodes) in order to get my 756PRO onto 60-meters. Is anyone out here using a 756PRO on 60, and does it play well?
