[ICOM] Icom's on 60-Meters

The Icom 756Pro radio has a serious issue to be overcome in order to transmit and receive well on 60 meters. When the appropriate diode is removed to enable 60 meter transmit, the 75 meter transmit low pass filter is selected instead of the 40 meter filter. This causes heating and/or possible damage to this filter, and the PA efficiency heat dissipation also suffers. There is a file in the Yahoo 756Pro group that describes a hardware addition that can be added to overcome this, but I don't know of any who have successfully done this.
