[ICOM] HRD-what is the attraction?

I use HRD extensively. However, I use it not to tune or push virtual
buttons but as a tool for auto frequencey and auto mode tracking so all
relevant data is automatically entered into my logbook, digital mode
panels, qsl cards, etc. It allows me to focus on enjoying the radio
instead of typing in all sorts of data into various applications and
forms. In the same regard I can click on a listing in HRD's DX cluster
window and the DX station and all it's data are entered into a logbook
while changing the radio's frequency.
I've never gotten use to using a computer to tune by rig, scan the
bands, etc. But it provides other convenciences beyond that.
