Hi Dennis,

The interface is "cheap insurance." Although the AL-811 keying-line V/I
rating is within the 1V/0.5A limit, the amplifier's keying circuit is
inductive and could shorten the life of the relay in your 751A without an
interface.

The Ameritron ARB-704 will do fine, or you can build a relay circuit.
