Heh.

I'm sure Icom has folks listening to the mailing lists, getting feedback
on the rig.  Me, I found it to be a very interesting rig when I saw it,
and from talking with the Icom people think its going to be a winner.

I'm always suspicious of DC -> Daylight rigs; certainly the 706 showed
but promise and problems, with the 7000 fixing a lot of that.

The 7200 seems like more of a HF ssb/cw persons rig, with 6M added
because it's fairly simple to add something thats only 20MHz up from
10M.  It also occurs to me that not having FM meant that things such
as filters might be easier to do, possibly a consideration.

There is always the idea of the 7200 mk II, if enough folks squabble
about it.  But having an HF rig be mostly an HF rig makes sense to
me.  I don't see the problem in that, but then again I have five 
radios for the 5 most common VHF+ bands. ;-)
