Depends... the 706MKIIG is designed for use in a mobile... and mobile
antennas are not all that efficient... or a Beverage... or a low-band
loop. How about a little SWLing while using a mobile antenna? It's best
not to generalize... Besides, that's what the switchable pre-amp,
attenuator and RF gain are for.
