Hi Dick,
I find the IC-7200 good-looking in a rugged sort of way (somewhat like
Maxie.) <g>
The IC-7200 appears to have die-cast front and rear panels, with "clamshell"
case covers. It looks very strongly constructed.
Agreed on the TS-2000 - "the face that launched a thousand groans".
My 7700 should be here next week...Glad you already have yours.
Cheers for now, 73,
Adam VA7OJ/AB4OJ

I fear the "ruggedized" look is in. And while I don't care for it, if it is
in fact as rugged as the appearance would lead one to believe, it could
serve a useful niche in the product line.
For my money, however, the Kenwood TS-2000 is the ugliest radio I've seen.
On the other hand, my new IC-7700 may just be the best looking. Lordie,
what an outstanding radio!
Dick
